Jack
Jack is twenty-nine years old; he is introduced in the Prologue living in the city of Raleigh, North Carolina. He is a surfer who graduated from Colorado State University, when he was twenty-one and takes a job as a Software Engineer in San Diego.
When he arrives in San Diego his first purchase is a Hadley Long Board that he buys at the Hadley Surf Shop in Ocean Beach. Jack is very intelligent and athletic, so he quickly teaches himself to surf.
In a short period of time Jack is fitting into the local San Diego Beach Scene and has became a proficient surfer, where he spends the next eight years living, partying and surfing along the California Coast from Ocean Beach to Solana Beach.
A promotion to Lead Software Engineer requires a move to Raleigh, North Carolina, where he starts exploring the Carolina Coast on his off time, from Wilmington to Myrtle Beach. However before he can be acclimated to his new home, he stumbles upon a mysterious woman named Karina.
Karina is an immortal Time Traveler who doesn’t age and can only die from accidental death. She tricks Jack into taking a time-jump to 2215, where Jack and Karina find themselves in a bizarre Dystopia.
Karina
Time Travel has frozen Karina’s age at twenty-seven years old. Karina is Eastern European and Italian, with Black Hair and is extremely beautiful. She is an Alpha Female and tends to be a leader. Jack is tricked into following her to 2215 where his nice predictable life as a Surfer/Software Engineer is turned upside down.
Loneliness and sadness are transmitted to people having intuition when she looks them in the eyes. This is because Karina has been alive for hundreds of years following her first time-jump. Trying to live a normal life with mortals has always ended tragically for her, because her families and friends eventually get old and die, leaving her by herself.
This time things will work out differently, because she plans to trick the people that she loves into taking a time-jump with her, so that they become Immortal.
What she doesn’t take into account is that she soon finds herself and her fellow Time Travelers in an Adventure that affects multiple Time Lines in the Multi-verse. Time Lines that they encounter are Dystopias and it is up to them to alter the outcomes, so good things happen and the future is positive.
Larry Adams
Larry is thirty years old; he is a Technology Manager at a company in the San Francisco Bay Area and gets an opportunity to become the Director of Engineering at company called Cyborg Corporation in Denver Colorado.
On his first day, he encounters massive strangeness that would be better suited for an initiate inducted into a cult, rather than an employee at a Corporation. Larry is singled out for grooming, because he is extremely handsome and athletic, in addition to being very intelligent and capable.
Soon he is trapped in the Culture of Cyborg Corporation where no barriers exist between one’s private life and one’s corporate life. Good-looking employees are ridiculously overpaid, so that they are willing to put up with anything that CEO Max Humming-Worth desires.
Max is a member of a Secret Society of Billionaires, who competes with each other to make their employee’s psychological captives who exist to satisfy the Societies prurient desires and expectations.
Great Caesar
The Great Caesar is a Time Traveler, who is mercurial, imperious, and prurient. These are his good qualities when he’s not being narcissistic and condescending. Access to Time Travel over the Millennial has allowed him to accumulate a fortune that can best be described as bizarrely excessive.
Great Caesar literally controls all of the money on the Earth, via his control of the Planetary Reserve Bank. This is something that he has set up after his conquest of the World Government.
Initially his fortune was accumulated by his clever manipulation of Time, but once he got control of Money, he set up a Virtual Reality that manipulates people into believing that they are living in a Utopia, because of the luxuries and ease of living that are available to the Elite Classes. However, this is only possible because of the subjugation of the Robots and the Drones.
Jose
Jose is brought to Cyborg Corporation via the machinations of Dr. Vivian Walters, who is CEO Max Humming-Worth’s confidant and lover. Dr. Walters or Vivian as she likes to be called, picks Jose up in front of Cyborg Corporation after his car has broken down.
He is young, handsome and extremely smart, however he speaks broken English and is initially perceived as a just a migrant laborer who is there just to do Vivian’s yard work and chores and be available to satisfy her desires.
Unfortunately for Vivian, he meets Max Humming-Worth when he stops by Vivian’s house to escort her to one of his “Parties.” Max who is a keen judge of talent and ambition sees Jose as International Executive material and hires him as a Janitor at Cyborg paying him one hundred fifty thousand dollars per year.
Paying good-looking handsome people with intellectual potential outrageous sums of money is one of Max’s techniques to completely control their lives. Max has so much money, salaries paid to “Special Employees” impacts Max’s budget less than his Dry Cleaning bill.
Max Humming-Worth
Maxwell Humming-Worth is a formidable opponent for any up and coming Planetary Conquistador. He sports a 156 IQ and a perfect photographic memory. Intuitively he is absolutely uncanny and can spot talent within five minutes of meeting somebody.
Max’s forte is to meet people who are nobodies, but are exceptionally good-looking and talented. When he discovers such people out of all of the employees that Max finds and hires, he will pay them outrageous sums of money for the work that they perform, but also train and educate them to speak perfectly and act as if they had graduated from one of the Elite Universities.
Max’s methods have made Cyborg Corporation the most valuable Corporation on Planet Earth. Max has guided Robotics and Artificial Intelligence with an uncanny knack that has caused his Corporate rivals to suspect that he is either a Time Traveler or an Extraterrestrial.
Dr. Vivian Walters
It is debatable as to whether Dr. Vivian Walters is a Sociopath or a Psychopath? In reality she is somewhere in between, probably closer to a Sociopath. She is drop-dead gorgeous with long flowing Strawberry Blonde Hair, with an obsession to live for pleasure.
Vivian has an infatuation to control people and have them perform for her according to her whims and desires. In this regard her Soul is consistent regardless of the Time Line or Time Period she is found.
Dr. Walters is a Non-Time-Traveler on two Time Lines 2025 and 2215, however when she takes a time-jump to 1965 from 2025 she becomes a Time Traveler, who is Immortal like Karina and Jack.
Unfortunately Dr. Vivian Walters’ Alternate Self also Time Travels to 1965 from 2215. It’s very bad for Time Travelers to meet their Alternate Self on the same Time Line. For a Time Traveler this must be avoided or bad things will happen.
Dr. Walters is on Wanted Lists across the Galaxy and the Multi-verse, will justice eventually catch up to her?
The Keeper Melvin
Melvin is assigned to Jack as his Keeper by the Dr. Vivian Walters in the year 2215. The Great Caesar captures Karina and Jack soon after they take the time-jump from Raleigh, North Carolina in 2025. Jack is given to Dr. Vivian Walters to supervise and protect and she delegates this assignment to Melvin.
Melvin soon grows very found of Master Jack, as he affectionately likes to call him and is soon his constant companion. He guides him safely from one adventure and miss-adventure to another in The City of the New Atlantis.
Dr. Vivian Walters meets Jack in an Alternate Reality game in The City of the New Atlantis and is soon subjecting him to torture and awful treatment. Only Melvin’s love for Jack and his duty as his Keeper save Jack from her diabolical machinations.
